With nearly two decades of experience in the field of design, I have built products across diverse industries, including mobile gaming, e-commerce, IoT, robotics, and food tech. I hold a bachelor's degree in applied arts and possess nearly two decades of experience in the field of design. Throughout my career, I have evolved from a concept artist to an Interaction Designer and ultimately found my passion as a UX Architect. I have actively contributed as an individual contributor and played a key role in diverse industries such as mobile gaming, e-commerce, IoT, robotics, and food tech.

My primary focus is on creating meaningful products that resonate with users. I prioritise user research and scientific evaluation to ensure the development of intuitive and user-friendly designs. My professional background encompasses both client services within agency settings and active participation in core product teams.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on captivating consumer applications and large-scale enterprise projects that heavily rely on data-driven insights. The Projects section of my portfolio showcases some notable projects in which I have been involved.

As the Head of Design at Ula, I bring expertise in e-commerce and a strong focus on empowering small retail businesses to achieve significant success. Through my design leadership, I drive initiatives that provide these businesses with the necessary tools and resources to thrive. Leading the design team, I guide the creative vision and strategy for our products in various markets.

My primary objective is to create user-friendly and accessible design solutions that are specifically tailored to address the unique challenges faced by businesses in developing countries. By thoroughly understanding the specific needs and limitations of these markets, I ensure that our products effectively cater to the requirements of businesses and consumers in those regions.

Furthermore, I actively contribute to the company's product strategy by aligning our design efforts with overarching organizational goals. This involves close collaboration with product managers and stakeholders to define comprehensive product roadmaps, prioritize key features, and make informed decisions regarding the direction of our products.

VMWARE

STAFF USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

I was a member of VMware's Central design team, where I contributed to shaping a product that provided granular visibility into public and private cloud costs. This product aimed to assist IT leaders in aligning investments with strategic IT priorities.

During my time, I worked on Cost Insight, a cost monitoring and optimization service designed for public and private clouds. It facilitated IT professionals in analyzing and tracking cloud spend, identifying crucial cost drivers, discovering potential savings opportunities, and effectively communicating the cost of services to the business.

Design Head

Joining as an early member, I was responsible for building and heading the design team in FreshMenu which is an on-demand food ordering platform. As the head of Design, my big responsibility was to find the right blend of business goals and product experience by delivering creative and well thought out solutions. Which also included making sure FreshMenu stays ahead of their competitors, maintain a high level of customer engagement and create delightful, user-friendly products.

PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

Innominds — a service based company for enterprise scale solutions. My responsibility was to interact with key stakeholders, understand the complex systems of enterprise products, gather requirements through research and provide solutions through design. In my time here, I had the opportunity to work with great companies like Hilti. I was responsible in providing them with cutting edge solutions for their product called Hercules. The solution involved importing  2D and 3D computer aided designs and feeding them to real time devices which helps in marking sophisticated construction points.

At Sourcebits I was part of a multi-disciplinary team and helped clients from brainstorming initial concepts to creating full fledged functionality maps and UI wireframes to help explain the user flow and navigation in products. I worked closely with clients and development teams in producing understandable skeletal systems for products. This in turn became simple and intuitive products that I strived to create keeping in mind platform guidelines, best usability practices and technical constraints faced from project to project.
